Dr. Harold Brown and
wife Mrs. Greta Brown |
August 2004 Dear Fellow Pastor,
May I take a few moments of your time to acquaint you with our
missionary intern, Bill Smith. He and his lovely wife, Rhonda,
are now entering their first stages of deputation as they
prepare to take the gospel to the precious people of Belize.
This couple, along with their children, is an exceptional
family who has consistently demonstrated their love for each
other, our Lord, our church ministry, and others.
Bill, while assistant manager with our local J.C. Penney
store, served as one of our church deacons for over 5 years.
He and his family have been members since 1984. The only
exception was the time Bill and his family left temporarily to
secure his master's degree at Baptist Bible Graduate School of
Theology, Springfield, MO, where he graduated with honors.
Currently, Bill shares in many of the ongoing church
responsibilities and ministries with a level of excellence and
heart rarely seen today. Rhonda, while successfully balancing
the many demands of today's family, also takes an active role
in her husband's pastoral responsibilities as well as
involving herself in our overall church ministry. Both of
these individuals bring great strengths, experience, and
passion for the Lord, His work, and others, to the ministry
table. They will be sorely missed.
While we as their sending church family are going to strongly
support Bill and Rhonda Smith, and their family in this
missions endeavor, we realize they will need additional
support from other like-minded ministries such as yours.
Therefore, we are requesting you prayerfully consider
having
the Smith family to share their burden for Belize with your
church family in the near future.
Thank you for your consideration in this matter. May God
continue to keep His hand on you, your family and ministry.
Respectfully,
Dr. Harold Brown,
Pastor
